Betsy Moss Apparel was founded in 2010 by President and Head Designer Jorge Perez. Being exposed to both Latin as well as American fashion, he has been able to incorporate both cultural styles in his designs. Upon his arrival in the United States he quickly delved into the fashion world and was able to apprentice as both a junior designer as well as assist the head designer for an established fashion house. This opportunity allowed him to grow in his understanding of materials, fashion, quality and fit.
The tropical climate of Miami inspired Jorge’s first collection of resort wear. Together with his team, creative director Josue Rafuls as well as his assistant designer and sister Betsy Perez, Jorge continued experimenting and creating. Buoyed by his success, Betsy Moss now carries a full ready to wear collection as well as a must-see maternity line which strikes an exquisite balance between form and function. Perez believes there are no limits as to what they can accomplish. Betsy Moss takes pride in dressing women in beautiful garments, they do not plan to stop at women's wear. Jorge's plans for Betsy Moss will include a line of accessories, fragrances and home goods.
